(NewsNation) — A “burn cage” incinerator has been found at a Hollywood Hills home formerly inhabited by singer D4vd, according to a private investigator.

Steve Fischer said the burn cage was inside the California home where the singer, whose real name is David Anthony Burke, was living, but it remained unopened.

D4vd considered a suspect in Celeste Rivas Hernandez death

Burke is reportedly considered a suspect in the death of California teenager Celeste Rivas Hernandez. Rivas Hernandez was laid to rest by her family in October after police discovered her body Sept. 8 in a Tesla that belonged to D4vd.

Last month, Fischer was given access to the house leased by Burke and found an incinerator, which are often used on farms. He said on social media that the burn cage, among other products, was delivered to the property under a false name, although the deliveries were accepted at the residence.

‘Burn cage’ can get up to 1,600 degrees

The incinerator in question can reach up to 1,600 degrees Fahrenheit, which is about 200 degrees hotter than the temperature required to burn human bones. It was not taken by authorities during a search warrant.

Fischer noted these types of incinerators are illegal in Los Angeles County, and that even if it were a prop for a music video, it’s unclear why it would be delivered to Burke’s home.

NBCLA reported last month that police said Burke has not been cooperative with authorities and “likely had help in dismembering and disposing of the body.”

Citing a law enforcement source, TMZ reported Rivas Hernandez’s death is being viewed as a homicide, though a cause of death has yet to be determined by the medical examiner.

Questions have swirled about Burke’s relationship with Rivas Hernandez, with some pointing to purported matching tattoos, song titles and comments from friends.

No arrests have been made in the case.
