The small college town of Moscow, Idaho, became widely known two years ago for a tragedy from which it may never fully recover. On this date in 2022, four University of Idaho students — Kaylee Goncalves, Madison Mogen, Xana Kernodle and Ethan Chapin — were brutally stabbed to death in their off-campus house, allegedly by a neighboring university’s Ph.D. student, Bryan Kohberger. Their house on King Road, once a gathering spot, has since been demolished, and the trial for justice will take place six hours away in Boise. Shanon Gray, attorney for the family of victim Kaylee Goncalves, joins NewsNation’s “Banfield” to discuss the anniversary.
