Cassie Buchman is a digital producer at NewsNation. She started at NewsNation in Jan. 2022. Before that, Buchman worked at the local paper in McHenry County, Illinois. Originally from the Chicago suburbs, she got her B.A. in journalism from Eastern Illinois University and her master’s from the University of Illinois-Springfield, where she interned for the State Journal-Register.
