NewsNation) — Chris Noth may have created what he calls a “tempest in a teapot” — but his enmity towards his former co-star and friend Sarah Jessica Parker is real.
Last week, the “Sex and the City” alum went on Instagram, posting a picture of himself working out in the gym with the caption, “F&@k new years – LETS GO!!!!”
When a fan in the comments section responded, “You mean f—k SJP & her award right? lol.”
Noth blew up the internet when he shot back: “Right.”
This week, he walked back the brouhaha that erupted by again taking to Instagram and posting a headshot of himself, noting: “My off-the-cuff slightly sarcastic response to a comment on the internet seems to have caused a tempest in a teapot. It is not news. It is not worth all this discussion. It is a waste of time in a world where there are more important things to worry about.”

However, Noth does harbor deep resentment towards Parker.
”He really hates her,” one friend told me. “He was so hurt by the whole thing.”
Four years ago, a scene Noth filmed for the “Sex and the City” sequel, “And Just Like That…”, was cut from the season one finale amid multiple allegations of sexual assault against him.

Once the allegations came out, sources close to Noth said he never heard from Parker — or the other SATC women, Cynthia Nixon and Kristin Davis — again.
“Not even a text or a phone call. After all those years. They were friends. And nothing. She cut him off without even hearing his side of the story. He was tarnished by this brush of #MeToo and never got his day in court to clear his name. Nothing was ever proven.”
Noth’s wife of 12 years, Tara, is also said to be furious at the actress for not reaching out to her husband.
“Tara’s life also exploded (after the allegations came out). She is even more mad at (Parker and the other cast members) than (Noth) is.”
A rep for Noth didn’t return emails.
