Big Brother’s Mickey Lee dies at age 35

(NewsNation) — Former Big Brother contestant Mickey Lee has died.

Her family announced her death in an Instagram post on her account Friday.

“Mickey captured the hearts of audiences nationwide through her appearance on Big Brotherwhere her authenticity, strength and spirit left a lasting impression on fans and fellow cast members alike,” the post read.

“She will be remembered for the joy she brought into the lives of so many and for the genuine connections she formed both on and off screen.”

According to a GoFundMe created Monday, Lee “recently suffered a series of cardiac arrests.”

Lee appeared on Season 27 of Big Brother and was evicted on Day 59.

Fellow Big Brother alumni commented on her death, including Rachel Reilly.

“She will always be remembered and I am beyond grateful to have had the opportunity to get to know her for the short period I did- she shared so much light with us and was such an amazing soul,” Reilly wrote on the post announcing Lee’s death.

Lee died at the age of 35.
