SAN JOSE, Calif. (KRON) — This holiday season, one family has a lot more to be thankful for — thanks to a group of teenagers at an all-girls high school in San Jose.

These girls spent this past semester trying to figure out a way to help someone who lost the use of his hand find a way to play guitar again.

A community member named Brian loved to play guitar, but since his hand mobility was lost, it’s been a struggle.

Anika, Joanna and Tanisha make up a trio at Presentation High School using their powers in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) for good.

After a full semester of work, the students found a way, but it wasn’t an easy road, as KRON4’s Jack Molmud reports.
