NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — A 39-year-old ride share driver was charged after Metro police reported he asked a minor for explicit images following a trip.

The incident happened on Sunday, June 15 after the 16-year-old victim requested a ride home from work.

After the ride was complete, the teen reportedly texted the driver to check if he left a shirt in the vehicle. During the text exchange, Gregory Eason invited the teen to engage in sex acts and if he could send him a photo of his genitalia, according to court documents.

The teen then informed Eason he was 16 years old.

Detectives worked to confirm Eason’s phone number and that he was the driver who provided the ride share.

Eason was booked into the Metro jail and charged with displaying sex acts to a minor. His bond was set at $15,000.
