(NewsNation) — Get ready, Swifties! Taylor Swift is hosting an album release party event in theaters this fall to celebrate her latest album.
The “Cruel Summer” singer announced Friday that “Taylor Swift: The Official Release Party of a Showgirl” will be shown in theaters beginning on Oct. 3, the same day her 12th studio album, “The Life of a Showgirl,” comes out.
The 89-minute event will be seen in thousands of theaters between Oct. 3-5, including all AMC Theatre locations, as part of her deal with AMC Theatres Distribution, according to Variety.
Taylor Swift and ‘The Fate of Ophelia’
The music superstar also announced that the music video for “The Fate of Ophelia” will premiere at the release party, which will give fans a behind-the-scenes look at the music video, as well as lyric videos of songs from “The Life of a Showgirl.”
The event will also show “never-before-seen personal reflections” from the singer about her new songs. There’s no word on whether those reflections will have anything to do with her new fiancé, Travis Kelce.
Taylor Swift gets engaged
Swift got engaged this August to Kansas City Chiefs tight end Kelce.
The pop star wrote on her social media page announcing the news, “Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married.”
Photos show Kelce down on one knee proposing to the “Lover” singer in a garden adorned with pink and white roses.
Tickets for “Taylor Swift: The Official Release Party of a Showgirl” went on sale Friday.
