(NewsNation) — Costco has announced a recall of its popular Dubai Style Chocolate, according to a Sept. 4 company announcement.

The chocolates, made by Rolling Pin, are being recalled due to an error in the allergen statement, which incorrectly lists gluten as an allergen in the product instead of wheat.

They were sold between May 1 and August 29 at select Costco locations and contain item code #1932972 above the bar code on each package.

Costco has determined that there are minimal health risks associated with the recall, “as gluten is listed on the allergen statement and gluten is found in wheat. In addition, Kunefa (which is known to contain wheat) is also listed in the ingredient statement,” the announcement stated.

The company advises households with wheat allergies who bought the recalled product to contact their local Costco for a refund.

For questions or concerns, consumers can contact Rolling Pin at 833-331-2993 during standard business hours.
