JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (WFLA) — A five-year-old boy from Jacksonville took himself on a solo trip to Chick-fil-A for breakfast.

The boy was found “happily enjoying his breakfast” by officers at a nearby Chick-fil-A.

The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office arrived at the restaurant to find a little boy barefoot, eating breakfast with the staff.

The video showed officers and the little boy getting into the patrol car and scanning the area for his home.

A short time later, the little boy pointed out his home, where the gate was locked.

“Officer Perri climbed over to knock on the door. You can imagine his parents’ surprise when they learned about their son’s morning adventure,” JSO said.

The JSO reminded parents to teach their children their home address, parents’ names, and a phone number.
