(NewsNation) — After 20 years of uploads and billions of hours of content, YouTube’s biggest record-holders, from most views to longest-running channels, stand out on the platform.

Here are some of YouTube’s biggest record-holders:

Taylor Swift

Taylor Swift is in the YouTube Hall of Fame, being the most subscribed female streamer on the platform, according to data from Streams Charts.

The “Look What You Made Do” singer boasts a record 61.2 million subscribers and has amassed more than 40 billion views on the platform.

The global superstar just announced her 12th album, “The Life of Showgirl.”

MrBeast

The ever-so-popular MrBeast, whose real name is James Donaldson, has 416 million subscribers on YouTube, making him the most subscribed overall channel.

He has his own YouTube channel, merchandise, food brands and, according to Benzinga, a future Amazon streaming deal. All of this has put the YouTuber’s net worth at $1 billion, according to Celebrity Net Worth, with an estimated monthly salary of $50 million.

Parents of young children are way too familiar with the “Baby Shark Dance” video. The catchy children’s song was uploaded on South Korean entertainment company Pinkfong’s YouTube channel in 2016 and has been viewed more than 16.1 billion times, a record it has held since November 2020, Stream Charts data shows.

Rounding out the top 5 of most-watched YouTube videos is Luis Fonsi’s “Despacito” ft. Daddy Yankee with 8.7 billion views, CoComelon’s “Wheels on the Bus” and “Bath Song, with 7.8 billion and 7.2 billion views, respectively, and “Johny Johny Yes Papa,” with 7 billion views.

While children’s songs are dominating YouTube by views, other videos have raked in billions of views, including Wiz Khalifa’s “See You Again” ft. Charlie Puth (6.7 billion) and Ed Shereen’s “Shape of You” (6.5 billion).
