(NewsNation) — Blake Lively may come to regret using former BFF Taylor Swift as a cudgel in her battle against Justin Baldoni now that Swift’s new album, “The Life of a Showgirl,” has been announced.

And there’s one track in particular that has Lively sweating: “Ruin the Friendship.”

Swift notoriously broke off relations with Lively after the pop star’s name was repeatedly used by the actress to get what she wanted from Baldoni during the filming of “It Ends With Us.”

”Taylor is annoyed she was brought into this,” a source told me in January. “She was supporting her friend — and went to her house to hang out, and now that (hangout) is part of (Baldoni’s) lawsuit. It’s a lot.”

Taylor Swift mentioned in Blake Lively’s lawsuit

Swift was mentioned twice in Baldoni’s lawsuit — first when Lively, texting Baldoni, compared herself to Khaleesi from “Game of Thrones,” writing: “If you ever get around to watching Game of Thrones, you’ll appreciate that I’m Khaleesi, and like her, I happen to have a few dragons. For better or worse, but usually better. Because my dragons also protect those I fight for. So really we all benefit from those gorgeous monsters of mine. You will too, I can promise you.” (Swift and Reynolds being the dragons).

In another incident, Swift was told to appear at Lively’s apartment during a meeting the actress had with Baldoni — and “innocently” said she loved Lively’s draft of the infamous rooftop scene.

Soon after the lawsuit came out, Swift stopped returning Lively’s calls and texts.  It was later made public that Lively had allegedly been “blackmailing” her.

Bryan Freedman, Justin Baldoni’s lawyer in the “It Ends With Us” legal battle, shocked everyone when he wrote a letter to the judge, claiming he had evidence that Lively (via her lawyers to Swift’s lawyers) threatened to release incriminating text messages if Swift didn’t offer a public show of support after the Super Bowl.

Taylor Swift’s dad reportedly didn’t want her to testify

Lively’s lawyers have called this claim “completely false,” but the Daily Mail later wrote that Scott Swift, Taylor’s father, was Freedman’s source of information, sharing the story in order to get his daughter out of testifying.

So no wonder Lively is concerned about Swift’s album.

Swift has said she wrote the entire album during her “Eras” tour — the exact same time their friendship hit the rocks.

”Taylor writes about breaking up with men — so why not women?” my source said.

”Blake is very nervous.”

A rep for Lively didn’t return texts.
