(WJW) — A trip to the bathroom appears to have landed a TikToker in an emergency room after she discovered a bat in her toilet.
Alison Doyle, @tismpump, shared her horrifying moment on social media, screaming, “I thought I took a (expletive) — there’s a baby bat in there!” She then slams the toilet seat shut.
The video quickly gathered millions of views and comments. In another video, Doyle appears to be in an emergency room explaining to staff that she had “like 100 people” telling her to get a rabies shot. She said in the video, “I’m autistic. I have a really hard time even going grocery shopping, so if you don’t think that I need it, I would rather just go home.”
According to PEOPLE, Doyle has been documenting her daily life online for two years. She told PEOPLE that she rarely uses that bathroom and wasn’t sure how long the animal had been there.
“The likelihood of me contracting rabies is extremely low,” Doyle told people she recalled being told, “but the percentage of you dying if you do contract rabies and don’t actually get help is wildly high.”
PEOPLE reports medical staff determined Doyle should start rabies post-exposure prophylaxis immediately.
As for the bat, a third video posted by Doyle shows her flushing it down the toilet.
