Andrew James McGann is charged with murdering a married couple while they were hiking with their kids in Devil’s Den State Park in Arkansas, after the couple’s young daughters gave police a description of the man who stabbed their parents.

Police say McGann admitted to the murders, but if his case goes to trial, it’s a very real possibility that those little girls could take the stand. What could that mean for the case, and how could they protect these girls while also asking them to testify?

This week on “Serving Justice,” criminal trial attorney Sara Azari is joined by NewsNation reporter Safia Samee Ali and child psychology expert Dr. Judy Ho to break down what happens when children take the stand, and what that could mean if McGann exercises his right to trial.
