Sol Rivera joined NewsNation as the Digital Team Summer Intern in June 2025. She authored the book Restrict: A Poetic Narrative (Hatherleigh Press) and is currently a student majoring in philosophy and creative writing at Northwestern University.
Born and raised in New York City, she now lives in Shaker Heights, Ohio when she is not attending school. In her free time, she enjoys writing short stories, reading classic literature, and going for swims with her black labrador Skipper.
