(NewsNation) — HGTV has reportedly canceled another series, marking its fifth show cut since June, according to the show’s hosts.

According to “Battle on the Beach” host Alison Victoria, the series has been canceled by the network after four seasons, a decision that she described as a “sad” development.

“‘Battle on the Beach’ did not get picked back up, which is sad, because it was like adult spring break,” Victoria said on her podcast “Pap Smear.”

Victoria suggested that the cancellation may have been partly due to how the network edited the series, pointing out that many of the lighthearted and humorous moments captured during filming never made it to air.

“It was so fun and funny,” she said of the filming. “Then all of a sudden, I watched the episode, I’m like, well, where’d all that (content) go? I get it, it’s a lot of content to try to put into 42 minutes, but where is it? Where’s the great editing? You’ll lose a show that way. I truly believe that.”

Victoria hosted the series, which premiered in July 2021, alongside Ty Pennington and Taniya Nayak.

The hosts of “Bargain Block,” “Married to Real Estate,” “Farmhouse Fixer,” and “Izzy Does It” have also shared news about the cancellations of their shows.

According to “Bargain Block” star Keith Bynum, HGTV chose not to renew the series for a fifth season.

“We do have a few more episodes coming out in August,” he wrote on June 22 on Instagram. “But they are the remainder of Season 4 ’cause they did not renew the show for Season 5.’

Izzy Battres also revealed that “Izzy Does It” wasn’t renewed by the network, announcing the news in a June 23 comment on an Instagram post.

A follower asked whether Season 2 of the show had been confirmed; Battres replied: “Unfortunately no Season 2 but we’re truly, thankful for everyone watching and supporting us!!”

“Married to Real Estate” co-stars and husband and wife duo Mike Jackson and Egypt Sherrod announced on June 24 that the series was abruptly canceled after four seasons.

In a June 25 post on Instagram, “Farmhouse Fixer” star Jonathan Knight expressed his sadness over the network’s decision to cancel the show, while thanking fans for their support throughout the show’s three seasons.
