(NewsNation) — Meghan Markle’s lifestyle brand “As ever,” is venturing into the world of celebrity wines with the debut of its 2023 Napa Valley Rosé.

Coinciding with Princess Diana’s birthday, the wine was launched on the brand’s website on Tuesday and was briefly available for online order before it sold out. Priced at $30 per bottle, the wine is sold in sets of three, half cases and full cases.

While rosé is the brand’s first alcoholic offering, People Magazine reports that “As ever” is looking to introduce a Méthode Champenoise Napa Valley sparkling wine in the near future.

Markle now joins the ranks of a growing number of celebrities who are tapping into the grape game for profit. Other big names include Snoop Dog, Francis Ford Coppola, Yao Ming and Sarah Jessica Parker.

According to the 2025 BMO Wine Market Report released in May, the U.S. remains the world’s largest consumer of wine, but consumer demand from 2024 into the beginning of 2025 has declined 4%. Post pandemic, many Americans have cut back on their wine consumption, citing health concerns around alcohol use.

Industry experts warn that escalating trade disputes and climate change could further hinder the market.
