(NewsNation) — Fans are confused and worried after “The Kelly Clarkson Show” dropped their guest line-up for the week of June 23 on Instagram, which turned out to be a list of repeat tapings.

As celebrity guests like Kevin Bacon, Jimmy Fallon and Martha Stewart were announced, fans quickly realized that these guests had been on the show before and this week’s episodes would all be repeats. One follower commented, “All repeats!”

Another commenter said, “She’s probably on vacation, same episodes that we’ve seen before.” It isn’t clear how long these repeated weeks will last since she starts her Las Vegas residency on July 4. During her residency, she will play regularly through August 16, then she will take a break until November 7.

Kelly Clarkson misses show tapings due to ex-husband’s sickness: Insider

Back in March, Clarkson had missed about 10 show tapings in a row, making fans concerned that she wanted to quit daytime TV. However, a source told NewsNation’s Paula Froelich that she was out because her ex-husband, Brandon Blackstock, was sick.

“Her ex-husband is sick and she took the kids to see him,” the insider told Froelich. Blackstock was previously a music manager, but he has since stopped working for Starstruck Entertainment, which was founded by his father.

Clarkson and Blackstock have two children together: a daughter named River Rose and a son named Remington Alexander. Their divorce and two-year custody battle ended in 2022 after Clarkson originally filed in 2020.

Hoda Kotb responds to Kelly Clarkson rumors

The former anchor of “The Today Show,” Hoda Kotb, recently responded to rumors about replacing Kelly Clarkson on daytime television. On an episode of “Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen,” she was asked about the rumors.

“Are you talking about the Kelly Clarkson rumor?” Kotb asked. She went on to say that she would never say never when it comes to a talk show, but that Clarkson is a “class all by herself.” She also said, “You don’t know what life’s gonna bring you. But, at this moment, I’m having such fun with the ride that I’m on.”

Kotb left her spot on “The Today Show” in January after 17 years. She told People.com at the time that it was because her daughter, Hope, had been diagnosed with type 1 diabetes back in 2023.
