(NewsNation) — Beyoncé isn’t the only big star who’s had to slash prices. Hugh Jackman’s “From New York With Love” show at Radio City Music Hall is also in trouble.
The show, which is running one weekend a month for the next five months, isn’t sold out, and tickets are going for as low as $21 on the resale market. The upcoming shows for this weekend are particularly sparse, with major gaps in seating throughout all sections except the upper mezzanine, according to Ticketmaster’s ticket maps.
And insiders are saying ticket prices have dropped and merch (which includes t-shirts, hoodies and Hugh Jackman-branded jump ropes) isn’t selling.

Hugh Jackman-Ryan Reynolds friendship ‘doesn’t help’: Insider
”His popularity has taken a hit,” my Broadway insider said. “People were shocked and upset about his split with Deborra Lee Furness. He was always seen as such a nice guy — a real family man until now … and having Ryan Reynolds as your best friend doesn’t help either.”

I was the first to report in 2023 that Jackman was getting unusually close to his “bBFF” Sutton Foster after announcing his split from his wife of 27 years.
At the time, Foster was also married to screenwriter Ted Griffin, but they soon split, and Jackman and Foster announced their love publicly.
Hugh Jackman’s divorce finalized
Jackman’s divorce was finalized last month, but it didn’t go down smoothly. Furness provided a statement to People that read: “My heart and compassion goes out to everyone who has traversed the traumatic journey of betrayal.”
Calling their split “a profound wound that cuts deep,” the 69-year-old actress added: “However, I believe in a higher power and that God/the universe, whateverr you relate to as your guidance, is always working FOR us. This belief has helped me navigate the breakdown of an almost three-decade marriage.”
“Even when we are presented with apparent adversity, it is leading us to our greatest good, our true purpose. It can hurt, but in the long run, returning to yourself and living within your own integrity, values and boundaries is liberation and freedom,” she told the outlet.
Furness shared that the “one thing” she’s learned is “that none of this is personal.”
“We are all on our individual journeys and I believe that the relationships in our lives are not random. We are drawn to people, we invite them in, in order to learn our lessons and to recognize and heal the broken parts of ourselves…I remain grateful.”
Foster and Jackman are still together.
He is also still close with Reynolds, who is embroiled in a nasty legal battle (along with wife Blake Lively) with “It Ends With Us” producer, director and actor Justin Baldoni.
Reynolds is being sued for mocking Baldoni in “Deadpool & Wolverine” with “Nicepool” — a character he created, supposedly based on Baldoni. Reynolds says he has also seen his “nice guy” image take a hit in the past year.
