(NewsNation) — Sean “Diddy” Combs’ ex-girlfriend, testifying under the pseudonym “Jane,” is back on the stand for a fifth day in his federal sex crimes trial.
Combs’ lawyer, Teny Geragos, resumed Jane’s cross-examination Wednesday.
Government requests to remove a juror
The prosecution is requesting that Juror No. 6, a Black male, be removed. The juror has sat through all of the trial testimony.
They did not detail the exact reason except for citing a lack of candor.
The defense opposes the prosecution’s request and said this could be the prosecution’s attempt to remove a Black juror.
Judge Arun Subramanian said he would consider the prosecution’s request.
Diddy’s attorneys present texts between Jane and male sex worker
The defense presented text messages between Jane and a male performer, Kabral, from February 2022.
The sex worker said he would be in Los Angeles on February 12, 2022, around Jane’s birthday.
Jane replied, “It’s my birthday weekend, you ain’t show me some love.”
Kabral wrote, “Let me know what I can do for you,” to which the influencer requested a video from him.
Geragos referenced when Jane asked Combs if he would like two men to participate in a “hotel night.”
The ex-girlfriend of the hip-hop mogul said she suggested two men, and Combs was excited. Two days prior, she said she did not enjoy having a “hotel night” with two men on her birthday.
Combs’ lawyer showed a text from April 24, 2022.
The entertainment entrepreneur wrote Jane, “I’ve been having crazy fantasies about you and Leo.”
Jane said Leo was a male sex worker they had “hotel nights” with and referred to as “The Italian.”
She replied to Combs, “I’ll figure out what time I can make my way there…we’ve been wasting time fighting.” Jane’s text continued, “baby I wanna make love to you. I haven’t selfishly had you to myself for 5 months.”
Combs responded, “Alright,” then wrote, “See if the Italian is free today after we have one-on-one.”
On June 19, 2022, Combs and Jane exchanged text messages with each other about their plans for the evening.
The rapper asked Jane, “you plan something for me?’
Jane said, “I know what you want but baby not tonight.”
“All good…surprise me with a freak off role play,” Combs replied.
Jane explained they did not have a “hotel night” on that occasion and instead had a “movie night.” A “movie night” entailed the then-couple watching pornography or watching a video from a “hotel night” and engaging in a roleplay.
On July 19, 2022, Combs told Jane to “call Italian” and “Paul is free.” The influencer said Paul was Combs’ trainer. She put a thumbs-up emoji on Paul.
Jane testifies she supplied male entertainers with erection pills
Combs’ ex-girlfriend said she gave the male sex workers erection pills or liquid to “cut down the time.”
On Monday, Jane detailed her tumultuous relationship with Combs, including her participation in drug-fueled sex parties with male sex workers under his demand. She said that although she did not want to have unprotected sex with other men, she did not want to disappoint or agitate Combs.
She testified she smuggled drugs twice for Combs with the assistance of Combs’ chief of staff, Kristina Khorram.
Throughout their relationship, which lasted more than three years, Jane said Combs provided her with a home and an estimated $150,000.
Jane expressed dissatisfaction with Combs’ polyamorous lifestyle and testified she was upset when he publicly dated Yung Miami about six months after the start of their relationship.
Combs faces federal sex trafficking and racketeering charges. He has pleaded not guilty.
