NEW YORK — Five years after The Last Dance captivated audiences around the world, the NBA on NBC announced Monday that Michael Jordan will be a special contributor.
NBC announced the move in a 20-second video on social media.
It’s unknown what exactly the GOAT will be doing, but he joins a lineup including Mike Tirico, Noah Eagle, Jamal Crawford, Reggie Miller and Carmelo Anthony.
NBC begins broadcasting the NBA this fall after it was on ESPN/ABC. During the 90s, NBA on NBC broadcasted the biggest national games, playoff games and the NBA Finals.
“I am so excited to see the NBA back on NBC,” said Jordan. “The NBA on NBC was a meaningful part of my career, and I’m excited about being a special contributor to the project. I’m looking forward to seeing you all when the NBA on NBC launches this October.”
Additional information about NBC Sports’ 2025-26 NBA coverage will be announced soon.
