(NewsNation) — Chicago residents are celebrating the election of Pope Leo XIV, who started his religious life in the Windy City.

Gregory Sakowicz at Holy Name Cathedral told NewsNation’s Natasha Zouves the celebrations sounded like the Chicago Bears “had won the Super Bowl,” while the pope’s brother, John Prevost, is clearing up a rumor about his brother’s baseball affiliation.
