(KTLA) — Actor Rondell Sheridan, best known for his role as Victor Baxter on the Disney Channel hit series “That’s So Raven” and “Cory in the House,” has revealed he’s been hospitalized with severe pancreatitis.

The 66-year-old shared his health update on Instagram. In the video from a hospital bed, Sheridan’s voice is noticeably shaky as he appears to catch his breath. The actor says he got sick on the road back on April 10, went to the hospital, and was told it was gastric.

Just two days later, the Disney Channel alum went back to a hospital in Northridge, in Los Angeles’ San Fernando Valley, where he was diagnosed with pancreatitis.

Sheridan also posted a link to a GoFundMe campaign, where he’s asking for help with his medical expenses. He says he hasn’t been able to work due to the illness and likely won’t be able to return to work soon, since he will be bedridden while in recovery.

The GoFundMe campaign has raised over $37,000, with the top donation of $7,000 from Saturday Night Live actor and comedian Kenan Thompson.
