(NewsNation) — It’s been a big week for former New England Patriots coach Bill Belichick, 73, and his 24-year-old girlfriend Jordon Hudson as they tried to take New York… but ended up leaving the city aghast.
First came the disastrous CBS interview Belichick did with Tony Doukoupil, in which he was supposed to promote his new book.
During the interview, Hudson (who was sitting off-camera to the side — and described as a “constant presence”) curtly shot down a question from Tony Dokoupil about how she and the legendary football coach met.
Jordon Hudson delays Bill Belichick’s CBS interview: Report
“We’re not talking about this,” said Hudson.
TMZ then reported that Hudson, 24, at one point stormed out of the interview, delaying shooting for around 30 minutes. Hudson reportedly wanted Belichick to leave the room with her, and Dokoupil is said to have been “spooked” by the overall experience.
After the interview, the two went on a date night and appeared the next day at a NYC social event… the legendary American Natural History Museum luncheon — where the two shocked the New York Society crowd.
Jordon Hudson debuts new, potential engagement ring at NYC social event
The two slipped in during the speeches, and my spy said: ”It was a very old school New York City event — ladies who lunch type thing — no one had any clue what they were doing there unless somehow they’ve roped him into being a supporter.”
”They were at a table of people who were her age — looked like a bunch of PR people — and no one talked to anyone. They were on their phones the whole time. Everyone at that table looked very, very bored. And (Belichick) looked very, very out of place. It was creepy. He looked like he was her grandfather sitting at the kid’s table, trying to make time go faster by playing on his phone.”

“Jordon had professional hair and makeup done for the event, which is funny. It’s such an old WASPy crowd, no one does that.”
They may have been bored (and people may have been confused), but Jordon took the event to debut her new sparkling ring on her left ring finger — sparking talk of an engagement… and concern from friends.
“She very much wants to be a socialite,” one insider said. “And is using her newfound fame and relationship to get what she wants.”
And even if the relationship ended tomorrow, Hudson would still have a financial cushion.
Bill Belichick’s family, friends concerned about relationship: Insider
According to property records obtained by Realtor.com, the former cheerleader, 24, purchased four homes in 2023, just a few months after she was first spotted with Belichick, 73. The homes, which are now paid off and hold no mortgages, are worth a whopping $9 million. The New York Post reported that the recent college grad has set up 18 companies under her name, with most of them being located in Massachusetts.
But while Belichick seems happy, his friends and family are concerned.
“They are talking to him about her, but very gently because they know how deep in he is,” an insider told The Post on Tuesday, claiming Hudson “saw an opening” and “took” the opportunity to wiggle her way into the football coach’s life and career.
“This guy is known as being such a strong voice and in many ways autocratic — and here he is becoming mush in her hands and letting her direct everything,” the source said.
“She is so much younger, so inexperienced and so lacking in perspective and professionalism.”
Belichick has even turned over many professional responsibilities to Hudson, who now signs her email “chief operating officer of Belichick Productions.”
She began “gaining more and more territory, filling a need that he had — and she was very aggressive,” the source alleged to the NY Post.
Even his family seems concerned.
After the dreadful CBS interview, the famed coach’s daughter-in-law sniped: “Publicists act in a professional manner and don’t ‘storm’ off set delaying an interview.”
