Trump will ‘get a deal done’ on Greenland: Former US ambassador to Denmark

President Trump has expressed interest in annexing Greenland, citing national security reasons. Carla Sands, the ambassador to Denmark in Trump’s first administration, joins “The Hill” to discuss the idea. Sands says Denmark can’t afford to develop or defend Greenland, so the U.S. annexing the territory would be “a common sense solution” to secure the region. Sands believes Trump will be able to “get a deal done” over the next four years.
