(NewsNation) — Alec and Hilaria Baldwin’s much-hyped reality show, “The Baldwins,” may already be struggling to stay afloat. The series, which follows the actor, his wife (formerly known as Hillary) and their large family, premiered last Sunday to lackluster numbers.

Numbers for “The Baldwins” featuring the actor, his “Spanish” wife and their seven children, eight animals and two nannies weren’t spectacular.

According to The TV Ratings Guide, the show garnered only 680,000 viewers (a .68 in the ratings), less than women’s college basketball on ESPN and fewer viewers than what TLC averages per night (849,999).

The bigger issue is that most people joined in to see what the fuss was about, and it doesn’t seem like many were impressed, with viewers echoing critics’ rants online.

The fears are the ratings could tank throughout the arc of the show as the couple and their “Baldwinitos” frolic in the Hamptons in between Baldwin’s “Rust” trial (the case is dismissed with prejudice, meaning he can’t be tried again for the death of cinematographer Halyna Hutchins).

As of now, there are no plans to film a second season. Could this be the end of “The Baldwins” before it even begins?
