(NEXSTAR) – Valentine’s Day is just around the corner and finding the perfect restaurant to take the one you love can always be challenging.

Whether you’re looking for a spot with beautiful decor and great lighting to set the mood, tasty food and delicious desserts, or just somewhere fancy to impress that special someone, OpenTable has made a list just for you.

The online restaurant and reservation website, OpenTable, compiled a list of the 100 most romantic restaurants in the country. From little holes in the wall to spots that overlook entire cities, there’s plenty of variety across the entire U.S.

Several states had multiple restaurants make the list. Not surprisingly, California had the most restaurants with 11. More surprisingly, Ohio was not far behind with nine restaurants.

Other states that saw plenty of their eateries make the list were Virginia and Florida with six different restaurants apiece, and Pennsylvania, Illinois, Arizona, and Tennessee with five each.

Texas finished with four restaurants on the list, two of them being in Dallas, one in San Antonio, and one in Austin.

As for the rest of the country, the highest-rated restaurant on the list though was one found in Charlotte, North Carolina — Steak 48. With a 4.9 rating thanks to 1,229 votes, Steak 48 serves the finest steaks and seafood in a very intimate environment.

Also rated very high at the top of the list include GW Fins in New Orleans and 618 in New Jersey.
