Melania Trump has launched her own meme coin, $MELANIA, following her husband’s new cryptocurrency.

“The Official Melania Meme is live! You can buy $MELANIA now,” Melania Trump posted on the social platform X on Sunday.

The website for the coin describes “Melania Memes” as “fungible crypto assets created and tracked on the Solana blockchain.”

The Melania coin comes amid the recent embrace of cryptocurrency and the community surrounding it by President-elect Trump, who also now has his own cryptocurrency.

“My NEW Official Trump Meme is HERE! It’s time to celebrate everything we stand for: WINNING! Join my very special Trump Community. GET YOUR $TRUMP NOW,” the president-elect posted Friday on Truth Social.

Trump had previously called crypto a “scam” but later backed it on the campaign trail, becoming the first candidate for president to accept digital assets. His donors could give to his campaign via its joint fundraising committees with any cryptocurrency accepted through the Coinbase Commerce product.

On Friday, the first “Crypto Ball” was thrown by Trump’s incoming artificial intelligence and crypto czar David Sacks in Washington, D.C. The cryptocurrency industry spent large sums of money during the last election and is now prepping a wishlist for the president-elect’s upcoming term.
