HAMILTON, Ohio (WDTN) – An Ohio woman is speaking out after allegedly receiving marijuana in the drive thru of a Burger King location.

In a video posted to TikTok, a user who goes by the name JannaBama claims to have purchased chicken fries for her children from a Burger King location in Hamilton. In the video she shows a Burger King bag with reported residue inside of it, along with marijuana she says came with her child’s food.

“Cannot make this up,” said the post caption. “I didn’t ask for a side of this.”

NewsNation affiliate WDTN received the following statement from a spokesperson with Burger King:

We contacted the Franchisee of this restaurant immediately upon learning of this incident and can confirm that the employee in question has been terminated. We were very disappointed to learn of the incident and do not take incidents that put our guests in danger lightly.

A spokesperson for the Hamilton Police Department told WDTN.com that no reports have been made regarding the incident, but the officials are “actively investigating the incident.”

As of noon on Jan. 14, the video has 988,400 views with 97,100 likes.
