(NewsNation) — Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson are the latest Hollywood celebrities to have their home hit by burglars.

TMZ was first to report the news that their home was recently burglarized after the criminals smashed through glass to get inside the guesthouse.

Authorities told the outlet that despite alarms going off, the thieves went inside but not to the main home.

At the time of writing, it is unclear what, if anything, was taken from the couple’s property.

The outlet said neither Hanks nor Wilson were home during the burglary.

The Hollywood Hills has become something of a target for burglars looking to cash in on the expensive taste of California’s rich and famous.
