(NewsNation) — Former President Donald Trump is “fine” following a shooting during a campaign rally in Pennsylvania that appeared to injure him.

Trump was mid-speech when multiple loud bangs rang out. The former president grabbed his right ear, ducked below the podium and was immediately covered by Secret Service agents.

In under a minute, the presumptive Republican presidential nominee was brought back to his feet and taken off the stage.

Lawmakers in both parties have condemned political violence, the first assassination attempt since- former President Ronald Raegen’s in 1981.
