BROOKLYN, N.Y. (PIX11) – A dismembered body was discovered inside a fridge in a Brooklyn apartment Monday evening, according to the NYPD.
Police received a CrimeStoppers tip and went to check out the home on Nostrand Avenue in East Flatbush. When officers went to the apartment, they found a woman who had several open warrants for theft, according to authorities.
Officers also noticed a fridge that was taped up, police said. That’s when they discovered the dismembered body of a man, according to authorities.
The woman was arrested but was taken to a hospital after complaining of illness, police said.
